odeus • 5 yr. ago. If you upload the activity from your Garmin it’ll come through with the heart rate. If you use the Strava phone app, it’ll only have a heart rate if you add an external HR sensor (bluetooth or ANT+ with an adaptor). Your Garmin is far more likely to be accurate than the phone GPS.
The data screens and data fields for each screen are chosen in Settings for each Activity Profile. From the startup screen press the bottom left button to get the menu. From there select Settings->Activity….
My heart rate is being recorded by fenix watch and has 4 hour history and if I do an activity it will show in the ap but the daily graphs have been lost. Also sleep is no longer recorded. This seems to have occurred when I renewed my phone a couple of months ago.
On Garmin Connect, go to Device Settings> General> Wrist Heart Rate. Also check your Power Modes, and whether wrist heart rate is enabled there.
When I’m chilling, the heart rate displayed on my watch and the app line up perfectly, but when I run, the watch displays a completely different number than the Garmin Connect app. The Garmin Connect app is telling me the correct data while my watch is telling me something that it obviously knows isn’t correct if it can send the correct
