My watch battery died during a run, so I manually added the rest of my workout via the Nike Run Club app. However after doing so it somehow added the wrong numbers of miles and minutes, creating a huge workout which then led the Activity app to award me a “New Exercise Record” badge. I tried removing the workout in the Health app, and How to Delete Workout on your Apple Watch Series 8. It is also possible to delete the mistaken workout in the Health app on your iPhone and then enter a new one, here are the steps: First of all, launch the Health app on your iPhone. Then, tap on Browse or go to the Summary screen. Go to the bottom and tap on Workouts. Tap on “Show All Data”. If you re-pair the watch at a later time, it will automatically install the Fitness app during the setup process. If you do this, you'll be starting the Fitness app off on a clean slate. Any data that was saved in it from before you unpaired the watch and deleted the app would not come back. We hope this helps.

Try finding the workout in the fitness app on your watch and swipe left on it and tap delete. Close the app down then force restart your iPhone by what ever method your version calls for. As soon as you see the Apple logo force restart your watch by holding in the crown and side button for 10 seconds till you see the Apple logo then release.
